A website comparing more than 1000 varieties of loose leaf tea, teabags and teawares was relaunched last week. Buy Tea Online, which opened its doors in 2005, has been completely redesigned to make it easier for tea drinkers to find the right products, first time.
“With whole sections dedicated to green tea, white tea, oolong tea, black tea, pu-erh tea, flavored tea, herbal tea, tea gift sets and samplers, teapots, accessories and more, there’s sure to be something for everyone” said spokesman Richard Fray. “We’ve recreated the site as an online catalog, enabling our visitors better access to a much larger range of tea and tea-related products” he added.
Buy Tea Online, and its sister site, Buy Loose Tea, have become increasingly popular with tea drinkers, wholesalers and industry insiders alike. Whilst Buy Loose Tea is restricted to loose leaf teas only, Buy Tea Online covers a whole range of tea-related products. Fray explains the reason behind this:
“There’s a world of difference between the casual tea newbie wanting to try some raspberry flavored teabags and the genuine connoisseur looking for this year’s Wuyi Rock Oolongs, so both websites are designed to cater to different audiences. Buy Tea Online has a more general feel, featuring teabags, teapots, kettles and other products similar to what you’d maybe find in your local supermarket, as well as an extensive range of loose leaf teas. Buy Loose Tea only features loose leaf teas – no teabags, no accessories, no distractions, just top quality whole leaf tea.”
“And what a selection we have! Comparing products from great online retailers such as Adagio, Generation Tea, O-cha and Culinary Teas side by side with big-name brands like Celestial Seasonings, Stash and Yogi, we think Buy Tea Online is the ultimate method of selecting which teas and teawares to purchase on the internet. It couldn’t be simpler or more effective.”
Fray continued: “We plan on adding to the range over the coming months. It’ll be hard to find enough products of the required standard for us to feature, but we’re looking around and hoping to increase the number of products on the site to maybe a couple thousand.”
